COMPOSITION:

Mecobalamine 1500 mcg
Alpha Lipoic Acid 100 mg
Inositol 100 mg
Folic acid 0.5 mg
Chromium Polynicotinate 65 mcg
Selenium Dioxide 18 mcg
Benfotiamine 50 mg
PRESENTATION:

INDICATIONS:

Co prescription with first line pshychotropic drugs as specialized nutrition in psychiatry.

DESCRIPTION:

Specialzed CNS nutrition in neuro-psychiatry fortified with Inositol.

CONTRAINDICATIONS:

Hypersensitivity

SIDE EFFECTS:

Diarrhoea, Nausea, Headache.

DOSAGE:

1 to 2 capsules per day as a co prescription along with first line neuro-psychiatry drugs as a specialized nutrition in psychiatric practice.

Methylcobalamin

CONTRAINDICATION:

Known hypersensitivity to the active ingredients or any of the excipients.

SIDE EFFECTS:

Should avoided in people sensitive or allergic to cobalamin, cobalt, or any other product ingredients.

PRECAUTION:

Caution should be used in patients undergoing angioplasty.

Alpha-lipoic acid

CONTRAINDICATION:

Contraindicated in severely thiamine-deficiency.

SIDE EFFECTS:

Allergic skin conditions are among the few reported side effects of lipoic acid administration in humans.

PRECAUTION:

There have not been sufficient studies to guarantee safe use in pregnancy.

Inositol

CONTRAINDICATION:

Patients with previous hypersensitivity to Inositol.

SIDE EFFECTS:

It can cause nausea, tiredness, headache and dizziness.

PRECAUTION:

Caffeine in large quantities may create an inositol shortage.

Folic Acid

CONTRAINDICATION:

Known hypersensitivity to the active ingredients or any of the excipients.

SIDE EFFECTS:

Allergic reactions (erythema, rash, itching, general malaise, bronchospastic respiratory difficulty, anaphylaxis) reported rarely.

PRECAUTION:

Not indicated for pernicious anemia and other megaloblastic anemia due to vitamin B12 deficiency.

Benfotiamine

CONTRAINDICATION:

Known hypersensitivity to the active ingredients or any of the excipients.

SIDE EFFECTS:

Allergic reactions (erythema, rash, itching, general malaise, bronchospastic respiratory difficulty, anaphylaxis) reported rarely.

PRECAUTION:

Not indicated for pernicious anemia and other megaloblastic anemia due to vitamin B12 deficiency.

Chromium Polynicotinate

CONTRAINDICATION:

Known hypersensitivity to the active ingredients or any of the excipients & contact allergy.

SIDE EFFECTS:

Some patients can also experience headaches, insomnia, sleep disturbances, irritability and mood changes.

PRECAUTION:

Caution should be used in combining chromium supplements with any blood-sugar lowering medication, as the combination may induce hypoglycemia.

Selenium Dioxide

CONTRAINDICATION:

Not to be used by patients allergic to any of its ingredients.

SIDE EFFECTS:

Orally, selenium is safe and well tolerated when used in doses that do not exceed the tolerable upper intake level (UL) of 400 mcg per day.

PRECAUTION:

Excessive amounts selenium can cause symptoms of acute toxicity including nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, nail changes, fatigue, irritability, alopecia, and weight loss.

STORAGE CONDITIONS:

Store protected from light and moisture, at a temperature not exceeding 30°C.
